Engaged Encounter, designed to help marriages get off to a great, firm start, is a positive and personal experience -- a weekend away with other engaged couples, with plenty of time alone together to build a closer relationship. It is intended to give couples planning marriage the opportunity to talk honestly in a private, face-to-face way about their future life together, their strengths and weaknesses, desires, ambitions, goals, and their role in church and society.
The weekend is facilitated by three married couples who make a series of presentations. Following each presentation, the engaged couple has time alone to discuss and share their thoughts about the topic as it relates to their own relationship.
