This Christmas 2020 here is my invitation to you: keep it simple. Let Christmas be all about love. The Love of God comes in our form, flesh and blood, to bear witness to the deep and abiding love God has for us.
Let love have the run of the house.
Keep taking deep breaths -letting them be your prayers of trusting God deeply.
This Christmas- pause.
Stop.
Look.
Listen.
Practice your slow motion moves.
Fully taste what you are eating.
As you drink a glass of water, give God thanks for the gift of clean drinking water.
Pause.
Let your mind relax and wander.
Slow down.
May the peace that surpasses human understanding and is a gift- pure gift- surround you this Christmas season.
