The Love Language of Music

During the season of Lent as we have been exploring the Love Languages of Lent, I have been curious about a soundtrack that might accompany us. I didn't come up with one as such. Yet this week as we read together the gospel for this coming Sunday March 22, 2026 John 11:1-45- (Lazarus being raised from the dead) the four songs at the bottom of this post came to mind.
I am attaching the music videos from YouTube for each of them. There will likely be an advertisement at beginning and hopefully it doesn't distract you. I invite you to listen to and look at each video as we come toward the end of this season and this preaching series. Just a note that in the song One by Birdtalker, there is some explicit language. I hope it doesn't take away from the experience of the powerful images in the message of that song.
What would be a playlist you might put together to express what is on your heart and in your mind? I would love to hear from you. Click on the bolded text below to see the videos on YouTube.
+In a time of war I hope this song helps to convey how all of humanity is connected. I love so many of the images in this video.
+Joy can be a form of resistance to the fears that might shut us up or shut us down I hope this song can be an anthem for you. Maybe this one might even get you to dance
