Worship is the number one thing we do, gathering together weekly to praise God. Our worship is formed by the Great Tradition of the church, a kind of drama or liturgy (literally, “the work of the people”) where all worshippers are the actors and God is the audience. The music in our worship is both old and new, changing with the seasons of the church year -- Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost.
All are welcome at the Lord's table! All children are invited to join the celebration and we regularly offer a "welcome to communion" opportunity for parents and children to learn together about our Lutheran understanding of this sacrament. We offer grape juice and gluten free wafers in addition to wine and bread at each communion service. Please call Pastor Margot at 1-303-617-9884 or email her when you are ready to participate in a welcome to communion learning opportunity.
Sunday Morning Nursery
Lord of the Hills is a “children-friendly” congregation: All children are welcome in worship! Young children, however, may have other needs or become restless or need a break. If so, don’t be embarrassed; we have the space behind the glass doors of our worship space so you can attend to their needs and still participate in worship. You are also welcome to utilize our staffed nursery for children preschool age and under.
We encourage members of the congregation to participate in every service.
The following positions are available at every service.
